A new game type “freemium” (later we will define what this strange word). This time the hand of EA and this is an online game called “Lord of Ultima” many of you sound, or others may know him by this means.
This is an online game of RTS in the style Age of Empires, Travian , Culture Online and the recent published Verdonia . Some strategy, a pinch of adventure, and especially a lot of action are the perfect ingredients to make Lord of Ultima a benchmark in its genre.
As promised, the word “freemium” is a concept that mixes the one hand the word free (in English for free) and on the other hand the term premium (which means unique and exclusive content in this case) the mixture of the two comes to mean this is a game for free, but also has the ability to acquire and support improvements in the game with real money.
You do not need a super computer to run this game, simply have a browser, the Internet and Macromedia Flash version 10.1 of player you can play without problems so no download is required.
It seems that EA is determined to make good games in this genre multiplayer. The graphics and atmosphere that surround Lord of Ultima are sensational, and very good quality. This set in a medieval era with some modern touches and a little more imaginative other.
