I have to say that I am really pleased with Cyberdefender. I bought it a while ago and it seemed fine. It’s really easy to use and you sort of forget about it after a while. I have to admit I don’t pay enough attention to what I am looking at online, so I always have some kind of protection.
Cyberdefender was inexpensive compared to some of the bigger name programs, so I got it and never really thought much about it. I had never looked at any Cyberdefender reviews before I bought it.
I only decided to write a Cyberdefender review because I finally saw the value of using the program when I found what I thought was a really great website from a online forum. I was on the phone with a friend at the time and I told her we could watch this movie online, so she should go to the site too because we had been waiting to see the movie for so long.
Well, now I know, free online movies are not free.
Cyberdefender stopped the movie website from changing my homepage, but my friend is stuck with a Yahoo homepage and toolbar. I’m pretty sure that Yahoo has no idea what these websites are doing, but she is really mad. I just wanted to say that Cyberdefender does work as promised.

I have tried the free versions of Cyberdefender, Prevx, ESET, PC Tools, AVG and Webroot. Most are just scanners, or 30 day trial versions.
All of these offer a $29 paid version (except AVG – $34 is cheapest paid version). I ended up getting Cyberdefender antivirus software, because it not only protected me from viruses, but also spyware and trojans. I like that Cyberdefender is a public company (NASDAQ) and that they have 24/7 computer help that goes beyond tech help for the software.

which seems to show there basic user interface, and this video is a little strange, and a good story of the acid rain virus, and this guy seems to have some really detailed comments on how Cyberdefender caught it when the others did not. This is what also helped sell me on the program.
Since getting it, I have been happy with it and it has protected me from one attack so far. Cyberdefender seems like a really good antivirus software program, much happier then I was with AVG.
